ALL OF THE ABOVE PERFUME BOTTLES ARE OFFERED BY RICKIE WHO HAS GRACED OUR PAGES MANY TIMES. THEY CAN BE BOUGHT FOR AROUND $30 EACH AND RICKIE WILL SELL YOU ONE FOR $120.

The lamp on the left is a fake and the shade is real. This is beginning to be a common occurrence so it is always important to consider that you are buying 2 different items.

The lamp on the right is real and the shades are fake - just the opposite of the listing on the left. The seller says they are signed but also calls them art glass and not Tiffany. Confused?

THE BOAT FROM TAIWAN HAS ARRIVED WITH SOMETHING NEW

Fresh off the docks comes the newest fake lamps. They have hit Ebay and of course, the first to offer them gets the most money. We showed the first one (above) a week ago and it sold to a "Tiffany expert" for over $900.00. The seller was FINE-ANTIQUITIES - 9 bids but only 2 bidders and one bidder bid 8 times. What's with that? The next to show up is from INET6094, a frequest contributor to this site and finally the last is from CYCLONEAUDIOVIDEO who is offering one. One has a goofy signature on it and the others have no signature. Some offered with shades, some offered without. Some right side up and some upside down. All are pictured below. Last listed at $79.99 and had no bids. You would think the "Tiffany expert" would have bought this one to go with the one he bought for over $900.00 and then he would have a pair of fakes. What could be better?

NOW YOU SEE THEM

Just when you thought you had seen the last of the group with the many names, brand new to Ebay, from small cities in Indiana, Michigan and Georgia, 0 feedback and the same descriptions with the same old tired lamps - fakes of course - up pops RUSSYFOR63_0. Two listings today and they are the same old dragonfly and the same old daffodil that you have seen before. But there is new news. This seller has been on Ebay for almost 3 months and the seller has 58 positive feedbacks. Can this be real? What about that feedback? It comes from selling $.01 (that is one penny for those numerical challenged) sales of wallpaper (screensaver background) to sellers who are all named PRIVATE. The wallpaper is the same for all of the sales and is sent by e mail. The sales could all be going to the same person - might be but no one would know since they are all named PRIVATE. These people have figured out how to get Ebay to help them and Ebay complies. They write the feedback and the next thing you know is that you have 58 positive feedbacks. Just think about 58 sales totalling 58 cents. You could not get 58 positive feedbacks any cheaper. Just when you think you have it all figured out, realize that all of the wallpaper sales started on March 17 and ended on March 18 and all the feedback came on March 17 and March 18. Unbelievable. This might be a scam within a scam. The seller is RUSSYFOR63_0. Bid Early And Bid Often.

NOW YOU SEE IT, NOW YOU DON'T

It has not been 5 days and this seller has been kicked off Ebay. Who said Ebay does not protect it's bidders? The seller is now listed as NO LONGER A REGISTERED USER and the fake lamps are gone. Hopefully the seller did not get the names of the bidders and try the usual tactic of selling these fakes off of Ebay. Congratulations to Ebay and why did it take you 5 days to see this fraud when we saw it the day the two lamps came on Ebay?

INET6094, the seller on the left has two other fake pieces listed on this page alone. This seller has been a frequent contributon to this site and any piece of junk is called Tiffany. If they sell fake Tiffany, what other fakes do they sell?

TIFFANY AT AUCTION

We have received many questions and complaints from people who have bought a piece of Tiffany at an auction. Warnings have been issued about this before but we will restate our concerns. Currently there are several pieces listed on Ebay for sale by an auction house in Germany and several potential buyers have asked for an opinion. No can do. It seems that the auction house has listed several pieces and there is just one picture of each piece with no detail, no bottom picture and no picture of the signature. It is difficult enough to make a determination about a piece of Tiffany but when there is only one picture, it is next to impossible. If you do not see several pictures, pass on it. If you are still interested, ask the seller to provide more and better pictures and place them on the listing - not just send them by e mail. If there is a future problem, you will need the listing with the pictures. Remember when you send the payment, it is sometimes very difficult to get a refund. Think what you are doing.

The sconce on the left is Tiffany Studios but what we do know about the shades is that they have a fake and fraudulent signature. What we do not know is if they are real Tiffany shades.

The lamp on the left is an excellent example of gross exaggeration by a seller. The use of Studios in the title is also a fabrication. Probably the most outrageous misrepensation seen on Ebay is a long time. Yes, it is "Very, Very Rare" and very, very fake.

The lamp on the right is from a 0 rated seller who is new to Ebay. The lamp is the same old fake from the group we have been following for many months. It is even the same photo used before. No guarantee, PRIVATE bidders and certified funds only. Yeah, sure

Even a novice would know Tiffany did not do cherubs but this seller says the "cherubs are a highly desirable subject for Tiffany collectors". This from a seller with 108 negatives. Fake lamp and fake shade.

GENERAL CONSUMER WARNING

Your attention is directed to a warning that is a part of an Ebay listing which is for a fake and fraudulently signed Tiffany Studios desk lamp. This very same lamp has been on Ebay numerous times by such sellers as JAMIECOHEN961, SUEQ404, ALANDSPITTERSS, EDDYDANIELJ, CAMROHN2738, DAVIDHUTCH821, LENNRICK893, RUSSYFOR63 and now SALLOUSHA1 has the same lamps that we have been tracking since we opened Page 2. These people sometimes use the very same pictures which should tell you that when it is offered for sale by a seller from Michigan, the lamp is probably not in the seller's possession. The addresses used by this group are all over the country but the money always seems to flow to Atlanta - "WIRE TRANSFER ONLY PLEASE" - regardless of which one of the above named was the seller. In the early stages of this scam, the lamps were guaranteed to be genuine Tiffany but when the buyers actually had the junk in their hands, they knew something was terribly wrong. After appraisals by qualified experts, demands were made for the return of their money but you can probably guess how that came out. Now they just list them, offer no guarantee, refuse escrow, have 0 or low feedback, are new to Ebay, use PRIVATE to hide the shill bidding and want certified funds. This particular seller, SALLOUSHA1, has already had two disappear from Ebay and when there is no record of a number, it means that it was removed by Ebay. Additionally this seller also listed another lamp which was described as a "Black Eyed Susan" Tiffany lamp that "actually came out of Tiffany's home". There is nothing they will not do to sell one of these fakes and the Black Eyed Susan is completely gone, again the mark of Ebay. A lamp signed as Tiffany does not make a lamp genuine. These sellers are a joke and will continue to be a joke and do not let them be your your expensive joke. Your best purchase of Tiffany will be the purchase of a genuine piece. Be careful and do not become a victim. Know what you are buying and know whom you are buying from.

UPDATE: Ebay has removed all of his Tiffany listings

Another of these 0 rated sellers has just been removed from Ebay. The seller name was PAKDAB312 and just like the rest of them, a new seller, 0 feedback, PRIVATE buyers and less than a month on Ebay. He was offering a fake Acorn which has been offered many times by other members of this group and this time he got 2 bids of which $500.00 was the maximum. These people think everybody is an idiot. The pattern is clear and if they fit the pattern, stay away from them.

The piece on the right and the piece on the left are both very obvious fakes listed by ABERDEEN-AUCTIONS. If these are fakes what about the other items offered by this seller?

CHARSCOLLECTIBLES

Mentioned before is another 0 rated seller - ROFUL_43 - who now has two more fake Tiffany pieces currently listed. One is an acorn shade on a Grueby base and the other is listed as a "Rare 1900c". No guarantee on either, no escrow offered, PRIVATE bidder and this seller has set the trap for no returns as he clearly says in the listing that he knows nothing about them. Just walking down the street and they fell in my hands is as good as anything else to say. Can you believe this seller would think everybody is an idiot? Some genius bid $5000 on one of his lamps. Wait until the buyer, if even a real buyer, gets it in his hands.
