SIGNED TIFFANY DOES NOT MEAN GENUINE TIFFANY

SELLER NAMES IN RED ITALICS ARE REPEAT SELLERS OF FAKE TIFFANY

FROM A FREQUENT CONTRIBUTOR TO TIFFANYFAKES COMES THIS NOT TIFFANY CLOCK WHICH APPEARS TO HAVE FALLEN FROM THE SECOND FLOOR AND SURPRISINGLY, IT APPEARS TO BE ELECTRIC. VERY RARE INDEED.

WHAT'S GOING ON HERE????
The 2 listings by MRPDCOOLER09 - above right - have in common that they are both fakes and they are sharing the same bidders. The chances of that happening are too remote unless they are up to trickery. Be very careful of this lister and also these bidders.
UPDATE: Both of these fakes sold. Can you imagine such pieces of Tiffany selling for less than $750.00 each?

SELLER NAME IN RED ITALICS INDICATE A PREVIOUS HISTORY OF SELLING FAKES

CTYGH
ON THE LEFT
We have had several inquiries regarding the shade on the left. Seller states in the listing that this shade comes from a "longtime Tiffany collector" and is "properly signed". You have to wonder why a "longtime Tiffany collector" with a "properly signed" shade needs to sell a genuine Tiffany shade on eBay. Our advisors believe the shade NOT to be by the hand of Tiffany and we do know that this seller has graced our pages several times before with highly questionable Tiffany offerings. That is why you see the seller name in RED ITALICS. Lots of activity and lots of bidding. Newly seen at the bottom of the listing is the following: "I have not had this shade authenticated by a Tiffany appraiser and therefore I cannot guarantee its authenticity". "The shade looks correct to my eye, thank you." Look out. It would seem that the added statement would have been front and center in the listing - not days later....

INTERESTING LAMP SIGNATURES SAMPLES BELOW
ON THE LEFT IS A PHOTO OF THE LAMP SIGNATURE OFFERED BY SELLER CTYGH IMMEDIATELY ABOVE AND THE OTHER TWO ARE PHOTOS OF SIGNATURES TAKEN FROM SHADES THAT SOLD FOR MORE THAN $30,000 EACH.

ABOVE AND ON THE RIGHT
It is highly unlikely that anyone would believe that the lamp above right
would be Tiffany but the seller is offering it for only $900 with shipping
only $508. Be careful as they are out there.

UPDATE: No longer listed as a Tiffany lamp and no longer listed as rare.
Now listed as just a shade and not as a Tiffany shade. Duh

JOSSA9266
DELIBERATE DECEPTION FROM THE AUCTION HOUSE THEN TO EBAY
On the left - A listing on eBay from seller JOSSA9266 seeking an opening bid of $1500. This was a purchase from an auction house in Miami - KODNER AUCTION - who described it as "A BRONZE CRAB ART GLASS INKWELL SIGNED TIFFANY STUDIOS. MEASURED 3 INCHES HIGH x 10 INCHES DEEP x 10 INCHES WIDE. FAVRILE GLASS BALL. STAMPED. SEE PHOTOS". Offered with an opening bid of $400 and it sold for $400 which tells a lot about it. Failure by KODNER AUCTION to disclose it as a fake and fraudulently signed piece tells a lot about the quality of the auction house. The next appearance of this fake is when it is listed by JOSSA9266 who has a "11" eBay rating which should light up the CAUTION flags. Described as follows: "VERY RARE TIFFANY STUDIOS BRONZE FAVRILE INK WELL EXCELLENT CONDITION SIGNED ON BOTTOM" with an opening bid of $1500 and best of all, Free Shipping. Already it has a bid of $1500 after less than 5 hours on eBay. We will describe it as a high school shop project. Hurry as it will probably not last long before the seller realizes what he is doing.

What is typical is this seller's
appearance on TiffanyFakes.Com.
