MEDIA1ANTIQUES IS BACK

Again they are offering two fake and one fraudently signed Taiwan made Indians of very poor quality.
These have been offered many times on eBay but never at this ridiculous price. Media1 started them at
$900 and for the past several months had offered them for $795. In another attempt to separate you from
your money, they offer that they might be Tiffany & Company. Free shipping. See below far right.

"And many a low life dealer like Jack Shaoul has passed them off as originals... ".

The above is from an Ebay listing offering a "Schlitz??" window (Ebay 182561860794) and this statement matches another article just brought to our attention. Some history first: Jack Shaoul who owns Universe Antiques - aka R.A.G. - in Manhattan and who has no Ebay account that we know of but instead he uses Gary Braverman, aka NARUKO as his Ebay connection. "The owner told me it was Tiffany". We have written about this pair on Page 9, 17, 18, 21 and 26 and not one of these articles are of a positive nature. The latest and very recent problem for Shaoul is an article published by ARTNEWS - March 31, 2017 - which details that Shaoul must return $1.1 million to a Manhattan "gallerist" who purchased a Renoir which not surprisingly, turned out to be a fake Renoir. Interest on the money is estimated to be another $700,000. Previously Shaoul served 40 months in prison. He made an insurance claim for a”stolen" painting (actually hidden away in a closet in his shop) for over a million dollars. One of his employees alerted the insurance company as to the whereabouts of the painting. On top of all that, the judge called him a "fraud". Cannot imagine why. After that settled down, Shaoul sold a fake Tiffany window for $1 million that a purchaser had gifted to a college. Not only was it determined to not be by Tiffany, the new owners were able to determine who the real maker of the window was. What is it going to take to stop these people?

THE BEST OF THE WORST
Below on the left is the very worst fake and fraudulently signed piece of glass ever seen in the
existance of TIFFANYFAKES.COM. The seller fully disclosed the problem and we are thankful.

IS THIS A JOKE? ABOVE ON THE RIGHT

"Early Louis C. Tiffany Favrile Glass Bronze Mounted Decorated Vase signed only "o1166" in the glass.
Collectors will recognize the design elements as being distinctively Tiffany, even though pieces from his earliest production will often lack the trademark signatures found on later pieces. The only comparable I know of is one I saw about 35 years ago, when Sotheby's was still in Chicago. A similar piece was offered in one of their sales, and there were favrile balls at the end of the arms, but I believe Sotheby's believed they were replacement pieces. An important piece of Tiffany history, for sure, and really gorgeous. Condition is Excellent and Original with no damage to the glass. A museum quality piece of timeless design and unsurpassed quality and you will never have another opportunity to buy another"
This seller has graced our pages before and this outstanding example can be yours for $2999.
UPDATE: The seller was contacted by another Ebayer and advised that the piece was on our site and this resulted in the seller replying exactly as follows: "Dear Sir or Madame, Get a life you f******** a*******. STOP trolling ebay and imposing your feeble, misguided opinion on us, you pathetic piece of SHI*! You wouldn't know a genuine piece of Tiffany if it was crammed up your rectum, so CEASE and DECIST, and fine (?) another hobby that doesn't irritate anybody else, like playing with yourself. Kind Regards, Ruth

While we do not know what DECIST means
, the message did get the fake removed and
we can only hope that Ruth will get well soon.

It must be the season to sell fakes and here they come. Be very careful of these last 2 sellers. Remember that they add 20 plus percent to you bid and MARTIN62906
seems to have a lot of negatives regarding shipping charges.
