SELLER ON THE LEFT
We received an e mail from the seller on the left who states that the FOO/FOOL dog immediately above is an absolute genuine piece of Tiffany Studios. What is his opinion worth?
Both listings were cancelled.

THE TAIWAN INDIANS

GENERAL CUSTER ASKED "WHERE DID ALL OF THESE INDIANS COME FROM" AND WE KNOW THESE CAME FROM TAIWAN. OLD NEWS, BUT WHAT IS NEWS HERE IS THE SELLER. HE HAS BEEN ON EBAY FOR LESS THAN A YEAR AND HE HAS 27 NEGATIVE FEEDBACKS. ONE FEEDBACK ASKS WHY EBAY WOULD ALLOW HIM TO BE A SELLER. WE WONDER THAT ALSO.

"PART OF A LIVE AUCTION"
These words are showing up more frequently on Ebay
now and we urge you to excersise extreme caution. First and most important, most are not nationally known auction houses
and many have fewer than 5 feedbacks with most in the 0 to 1 range. You would use
caution when dealing with a new seller on Ebay and with Ebay sellers you have a lot of protection regarding returns. Another major difference is the cost of doing business with
these places in that many are demanding 20 to 40 percent added to your purchase price.
If you can accept that then you now have to hook up to shipping charges which do not
seem to be shown in the listing as they are in Ebay listings. Most auction houses just
take them to a shipping service and the auction house is now out of the loop and if you
have a problem you are on your own with the shipping service. Comments we have
received tell of unbelievable high charges. Another major concern is that the most of
these listings show only one photo and attempts to get additional photos are just ignored. Thinking first will save you money and time and if you are still interested,
get all of your questions answered before you bid.

JANDJVINTAGE
ON THE LEFT - A COMMON OCCURANCE
Many buyers with no knowledge of what is and what is not Tiffany think the best place to dump their purchase mistakes is on Ebay. They list it the first time and hopefully we see it and place it on this site. Usually they do not sell and the owner has selected the Ebay option to automatically relist it. New buyers look at our current page and do not see it there. Always check our SELLERS TO WATCH page for their name before you place a bid. The fake on the left is a perfect example and it was first offered for sale months ago and was placed on this site as soon as it was listed. It did not sell and it just keeps getting relisted. It is still a fake. Another way to fool you is to have their seller's name changed and this can be checked by going to their feedback page and check their ID History on the right side of the page. It's your money that is at risk.

MELMAROZZY
ON THE LEFT - TRUTH IN SELLING???
The genuine Tiffany Studios 932 paperweight is described by seller MELMAROZZY as "vintage condition". "great refief", "antique condition", "great patina wear", "normal age/shelf wear" and finally, "excellent condition. Looks like it got in a fight with a bottle of battery acid and can be yours for $925.
Make it a point to read this seller's feedback.

ON THE RIGHT - HEED THE WARNINGS

Listed again - see above - and still a fake. Seller ROYALDEPARISANTIQUES offers these instructions in the listing: "please check the photo", "and check the signature", "if you feel the signature is not real please do not buy it", "you must know what you are buying", "there is no return here once you buy it", "its used and in very good condition", and finally "ask me before you but (sic) it please".
Do not let the buyer's mistake become yours.
