FINALLY A REST
After months and months of seeing 7 or more fake Tiffany windows, described by the sellers as
"DOCUMENTED TIFFANY", they have finally been removed from Ebay. Gary Braverman - Ebay name NARUKO - and his partner, Jack Shaoul of Universe Antiques in New York City have finally climbed back under their rocks and taken their windows with them. Strange that they never did tell who documented these windows. You can read about both of these "dealers" on Page 17 under the paragraph title PSSTS, WANNA BUY A TIFFANY WINDOW?.

ON THE LEFT
The absolute best
worst fake Tiffany signature ever to
be seen. The vase is above right and we thank JACOB.29
for this thrill.

ON THIS LEFT
How fortunate do you
have to be to find 2
fakes at one time and
at the same place?
We thank MYHOMEANTIQUES
for these two gems.

COWGIRL-143
This seller has relisted two of her seven fakes and she (?) is quick to point out how she
is protecting you from all kinds of harm by her use of the PRIVATE feature. In reality
this Ebay option serves no good except to keep someone from notifying you that as a
buyer, you have bought a fake. So kind of her.

PAIR OF FAKES
On the left and right are a pair of non-Tiffany windows with the "appraisal" missing.
GEORGEDRUMMER2000
Relisted again with no mention of the "appraisal", price reduced $4000 each.

Just when you think you have seen it all, up pops this fake. Seller "consulted" with Tiffany dealers and several online collectors and this site probably knows all of them as contributors to the site.

SAYAUSTIN

THE INDIANS JUST KEEP COMING
Above on the far right is another of those $12 Indians from Taiwan and although we decided
to not let them grace our pages again, we just had to point out that SAYAUSTIN, a frequest
contributor to this site,
has the one above listed for $1200. Enough.

H
OW ABOUT A $89,000 BATH?

Seller DAVIDGLOVERANTIQUES who sells a lot of 3D film strips and miniature DAV license plates which average $2.50 each, has jumped right into the world of Tiffany. The three lamps below are currently listed and as provenance, the seller states that they are from an 80 year old who has been collecting since he was in his 20s. All are "truley beautiful" and the seller will not accept returns. Base numbers and shade numbers do not match any of the accepted reference books, photos are blurry especially regarding signatures, bases are modified, new parts added, non Tiffany heat caps and just plain junk and garbage. In defense of the seller, we did receive a copy of an e mail from the seller who offered better photos "if I can get around to it". We suggest you not hold your breath or even waste your time with these three very obvious fakes. Shipping is free.

CENTRAL*ANTIQUES

A BOLD LIE
The item on the left was brought to our attention by a reader who corresponded
with the seller. The item is listed as SIGNED TIFFANY but it is not signed
Tiffany anywhere. When the seller was asked about this, he replied
in an e mail "Hebbard worked for Tiffany it is signed by him" and we
guess "him" to really be Hebbard. Confused? We were until we checked the
seller's ME section and the seller has this to say about himself:
"All items posted on our site will be represented in a truthfull manner
with no hidden flaws. Our reputation is very important and your buying
experience is our formost concern."

SXEBLADE

THINK ABOUT THIS LISTING
The vase shown on the left offered by seller SXEBLADE is a perfect example
of a very deceptive Tiffany listing. The seller offers you a wonderful
opportunity to purchase this fake for $1000 and will even deliver it to you
in the NYC area. According to the seller it is signed but there is no photo
of the signature and there is a piece of the paper label but it is not shown either. Listings with too few or blurred photos are trying to scam you. Be alert.
UPDATE:Photos have now been added but they are just blurs and more negative feedback has also been added since we placed this on the site.

VINTAGE_AUCTIONS

THE BOAT IS IN FROM TAIWAN
Just when we thought everybody in the world knew that this frog was not made by Tiffany, VINTAGE_AUCTIONS lists this fake for $250.00. The seller was notified and then replied "For your information, the owner was a multli-millionair (their spelling) who died recently. We have papers to prove it".

FIRST_TIER0

THE HOME DEPOT APPRAISAL
The three light "lily" shown above on the right edge and listed for sale by FIRST_TIERO was not made by Tiffany - either base or shades - but the seller has it listed as Tiffany. This site received a copy of a reply from the seller who says "I got it appraised last week and confirmed it was genuine". There is no mention of an appraisal in the listing and the one sure thing you would place in your listing would be an appraisal especially if the appraisal was done by a competent and qualified appraiser. Home Depot does not qualify although they probably could read the very crudely stamped Tiffany Studios on the base. The seller is asking $5500 as the buy it now price and already has a $1500 bid on it. Strange how these reserve priced pieces get these under-reserve bids so quickly. Friends and relatives are good for this purpose but the real buyers usually wait for the last moment.

WORDS TO WATCH FOR
Very recently we have seen these words so be on the lookout for them. They mean absolutely
nothing and are used just to confuse you. "Auction reference" - have no idea what that means,
"unsigned experimental" - there is no record of this so it must be unsigned experimental, "paper label"
- these are a hundred years old and are easily and frequently reprinted, and any reference to a "major auction house"- unidentified of course. Watch for them as something bad is about to happen to you.

CHINESE KNOCKOFFS FROM TAIWAN
New to TiffanyFakes.Com but most likely known to many others, at least according to their recent feedbacks. Their first Tiffany fake offerings are the lamp on the left and the candlestick on the right. They also offer pieces from Donatello, Remington, Parrish Chiparus, Moreau, and Erte to mention a few. Wonder if they send this junk out with the Made In China/Made In Taiwan stickers still affixed.
Read their feedback and stay away.
